ROUND 1 PREVIEW

THE TERRIERS RETURN AT HOME TO KICK OFF THEIR 2023 SCRIBAL PREMIER LEAGUE AND WOMENS PREMIER LEAGUE CAMPAIGNS

The Men’s sides return back home this weekend to kick off their 2023 campaigns.

The Men take to the field this week as reigning champions looking to repeat the heroic efforts of last year’s emphatic league domination. Facing one of the early inform pre-season teams and Central Coast Cup finalists Southern Ettalong, the boys will be looking to start the season on the front foot and secure the three points to kick start their Scribal Premier League Campaign.

The reserve grade boys will be looking to make a strong start to the season also after the disappointment that they faced last year in being knocked out of the final’s series. Newly promoted coach Martin Driene seems to have the boys firing on all cylinders throughout pre-season though and has secured his team a spot in the Central Coast Cup Final on the weekend after defeating newly promoted side East Gosford 3-0.

The under 21’s will also be looking to pick up where they left off last year in a grand final rematch against Southern. This year sees a a few changes with some fresh faces joining the squad as well as a many players getting the opportunity in pre-season to play within the reserve grade and first grade teams.

Our WPL also return to action this Sunday at home facing one of the forces from last years competitions East Gosford. After a lot of changes from last years Women’s premier league side, we have seen the introduction of some new faces come into the Women’s space for this season including numerous Killarney juniors who have made the step up from juniors to the senior space. The girls will be looking to start the season strongly with a win this weekend.
